A virtual reconstruction, an analytical inventory, a research tool

The Camera Actorum Project is the first virtual reconstitution of the archives of the medieval commune of Bologna made on the basis of the ancient inventories. Through this site you can: visualize the way the archive of the captain of the popolo was organized in 13^th and 14^th centuries; get information (including images) about the content, form and history of 767 registers ; research on more than 526 people involved in their realization (captains, judges, notaries)
